The Yad Mordechai Museum invites you to a special evening to commemorate International Holocaust Memorial Day, during which the “Phantoms” photography project, created by Prof Dana Arieli, will be presented.
A powerful visual work that combines photographs from the sites of concentration camps and deals with memory, with absence and with questions of documentation versus lost memory.
Through a contemporary look at emotional spaces from the past, the project offers an extraordinary perspective – serene yet poignant – of the collective memory in Israel and in Germany.
